This slow cooker recipe is easy, healthy, and delicious!
Below is the original recipe, but, it can easily be modified with your Thanksgiving leftovers. Throw in all that turkey, any brussel sprouts or green beans that were overlooked, and transform them into a delicious aromatic, healthy stew!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast
2 large sweet potatoes
3 1/2 oz. spinach
4 cups chicken stock
4 cups water
2 tsp. Italian seasoning
salt & pepper to taste
Peel sweet potatoes and place all ingredients into your slow cooker. Cook on low for about six hours, or high for about four hours, until chicken falls apart and sweet potatoes are soft.
WARNING: The aroma will absolutely tantalize your senses while it's cooking.
Buon appetito!
